‘We couldn’t cope in mainstream schools but we found somewhere that works for us’

I like this more.

There are so many things in life that we come across and simply like, but then there are those special things that we like more. It’s that feeling of pure joy and contentment when you find something that just clicks with you. It could be a person, a place, a hobby, or even a simple object. Whatever it may be, it’s that special something that makes your heart skip a beat and brings a smile to your face every time you think about it.

For me, I have found that special something in my love for writing. I have always enjoyed putting my thoughts and ideas onto paper, but it wasn’t until recently that I discovered just how much I truly like it. It has become more than just a hobby, it has become a passion and a way for me to express myself in ways that I never thought possible.

Writing has given me a sense of purpose and fulfillment that I never knew I was missing. It has become my escape from the stresses of everyday life and a way for me to explore my creativity. Whether it’s writing a short story, a poem, or even a simple journal entry, I find myself completely immersed in the process and time just seems to fly by.

One of the things I like most about writing is the freedom it gives me. There are no rules or limitations, I can let my imagination run wild and create anything I want. It’s a form of self-expression that allows me to be completely authentic and true to myself. And the best part is, there is no right or wrong way to do it. There is only my way, and that’s what makes it so special to me.

Another reason why I like writing more than anything else is the sense of accomplishment I feel when I finish a piece. Whether it’s a short story or a novel, seeing my words come to life on the page is a feeling like no other. It’s a reminder that I am capable of creating something meaningful and that my words have the power to impact others.

But it’s not just the process of writing that I like, it’s also the community that comes with it. I have connected with so many amazing people through my love for writing, whether it’s through workshops, online forums, or even just sharing my work with friends and family. It’s a community of like-minded individuals who understand the struggles and triumphs of being a writer and who offer support and encouragement along the way.

I also like the fact that writing is a never-ending journey of learning and growth. There is always room for improvement and new techniques to explore. It challenges me to push myself and try new things, and the satisfaction I feel when I see my writing improve is indescribable.

Of course, like anything in life, there are moments of frustration and self-doubt. There are times when the words don’t flow as easily or when I feel like what I’ve written is not good enough. But even in those moments, I still like writing more than anything else. Because it’s during those times that I am reminded of just how much I love it and how much it means to me.

In a world where we are constantly bombarded with negativity and stress, having something that brings us pure joy and happiness is truly a blessing. Writing is my escape, my passion, and my way of expressing myself. It’s something that I like more than anything else in this world, and I am grateful every day for having found it.

So to anyone who hasn’t found that special something yet, keep searching. It may be writing, or it may be something completely different. But when you find it, you will know. And when you do, hold on to it and never let it go. Because there is nothing more precious than having something in your life that you like more than anything else.
