‘Struggling’ Usain Bolt Makes Big Revelation of Spending Time With His Kids After Retirement

Usain Bolt, the name that has become synonymous with speed, agility, and unparalleled athleticism, has now slowed down in the literal sense. The man who once dominated the track with his lightning-fast sprints, has now shifted his focus to a slower pace of life.

After conquering the world of sprinting and rewriting records with eight Olympic gold medals to his name, Bolt surprised the world by announcing his retirement in 2017. While his decision left many fans disappointed, the Jamaican sprinter has fully embraced his new role as a father, businessman, and most importantly, a retired athlete.

In a recent interview, Bolt opened up about his transition from life on the track to a more relaxed routine. He shared that while it has been challenging, he is learning to embrace the slower pace of life and enjoy the little things. The toll of injuries and the absence of the adrenaline rush from competing have taken some adjustment, but Bolt is determined to make the most of this new chapter in his life.

The 34-year-old is now spending more time with his family, especially his children, and cherishing the moments he missed while chasing his dreams on the track. Bolt, who is a father to two-year-old Olympia Lightning and three-month-old Saint Leo, revealed that being a dad has been the most fulfilling experience for him. He expressed, “It’s the greatest feeling to be able to wake up and see their little faces every day. It’s a new chapter, and I’m just really, really happy.”

Apart from being a hands-on dad, Bolt is also keeping himself busy with his various business ventures. The entrepreneur has launched his own brand of headphones, “Bolt Beats,” and has also invested in a Jamaican sports drink company. He is determined to use his platform and influence to inspire the youth and give back to his community.

But amidst all his new roles and responsibilities, Bolt hasn’t completely left the world of sports. He has been involved in various charity events and exhibition races, including the Soccer Aid for UNICEF, which raises funds for children in need. Bolt has also started coaching and mentoring young athletes in Jamaica, passing on his knowledge and expertise to the next generation.

In his interview, Bolt also addressed the topic of mental health and the struggles he faced during his career. He admitted that the pressures of constantly performing at the highest level took a toll on him, and he often felt drained and stressed. However, he stressed the importance of taking care of one’s mental well-being and shared that he is now in a much better place and enjoying life to the fullest.

Bolt’s retirement has been a significant loss for the athletics world, but it has also given him the opportunity to explore new avenues in life. He has proven that there is more to him than just his speed and has embraced his new roles with enthusiasm and determination.

As we witness Bolt’s transition from an athlete to a well-rounded individual, we can’t help but feel inspired. His perseverance, resilience, and positive outlook on life serve as a motivation for people of all ages and backgrounds. Bolt’s journey reminds us that it’s not just about the destination but also about the journey and the experiences that shape us along the way.

In conclusion, the world may have lost the fastest man on the planet, but we have gained a devoted father, successful businessman, and a role model to millions. Usain Bolt’s story is a reminder to all of us that life is about enjoying every moment, no matter the pace.
