Turns Out Slip-On Sneakers Can Be Stylish

Reading Time: 3 mins read

When you think of an ergonomic or practical shoe, chic might not be the first word to come to mind. Most of us prioritize comfort over style, and finding a shoe that offers both can seem like an impossible task. But that’s where Kizik comes in – a brand that has revolutionized the way we think about slip-on shoes.

Kizik’s patented hands-free technology has changed the game for those looking for a stylish and comfortable shoe. Their everyday styles may seem like any other sneaker, with shoelaces and sleek designs, but the hands-free tech means you never have to bend down to tie them or struggle to get your feet into the shoe. And the best part? The added technology doesn’t come with extra weight or bulk – Kiziks may just be the most lightweight sneakers you’ll ever own.

I had the opportunity to try out the Kizik Women’s Paris Sneaker ($135), the brand’s newest shoe, a few weeks before its release in its namesake city. And after walking 50,000 steps in these sneakers, I can confidently say that they are not only incredibly stylish, but also practical and comfortable – the perfect combination for any shoe.

One of the things I love most about the Kizik Paris Sneaker is its versatility. For me, sneakers usually fall into two categories: athletic shoes for the gym or cute street style shoes. But the Paris sneaker seamlessly bridges the gap between these categories, making it the perfect shoe for any occasion. I wore these sneakers while exploring the streets of Paris and they paired perfectly with my neutral, French-girl inspired outfits. The rose gold detailing added a subtle pop of color and elevated the overall look.

But it’s not just the aesthetics that make the Paris sneaker a winner. The shoes are incredibly comfortable and require no breaking in – something that is almost unheard of with leather sneakers. This particular pair is made with nubuck leather, which is not only durable but also highly breathable. So even on hot days, your feet will feel cool and comfortable.

One of the most impressive features of the Kizik Paris Sneaker is the hands-free technology. The shoes are designed with Kizik’s patented External Flex Arc, which compresses against the back of the midsole and bounces back up when stepped in. This means you can simply slip them on and off without worrying about crushing the back or struggling to keep the shape of the shoe. This feature is especially useful while traveling – no more stopping to tie your shoes or untangling laces at airport security.

While the hands-free technology is a game changer, there are a few things to consider before trying out the Kizik Paris Sneaker. The shoes are not waterproof or machine washable, although the insoles can be removed and washed separately. So if you’re someone who likes to keep their white shoes pristine, this is something to keep in mind. But I did wear these sneakers in Paris’s random bursts of summer rain and they dried quickly. Plus, they have a sturdy rubber outsole to provide traction on slippery streets. Cleaning the shoes is also easy – you can simply spot clean with a soft cloth.

Another thing to note is that the Paris sneakers come in standard sizes only, not in wide sizes like most other Kizik styles. This may be a drawback for those with wider feet, but the brand does offer sizes ranging from women’s 6 to 13.

The Kizik Paris Sneaker is perfect for anyone who prioritizes comfort and style in their footwear. The hands-free technology makes it ideal for those with limitations that make bending down to tie shoes difficult, such as those with reduced mobility or pregnant women. But it’s also great for anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish shoe for daily wear.

Some additional details about the Kizik Paris Sneaker include the fact that it comes in three colors: Pristine Amberlight, Metallic White, and Black Pristine. They’re available in sizes ranging from women’s 6 to 13. The Paris also comes with a cushiony midsole, providing more momentum and absorbing impact.

Currently, the Kizik Paris Sneaker is only available for purchase on the brand’s website, although other Kizik styles can be found at retailers such as Amazon and Nordstrom.

In conclusion, the Kizik Paris Sneaker is a game changer in the world of slip-on shoes. It offers a perfect blend of style, comfort
