Halloween is a time for fun, fear, and most importantly, fabulous costumes. And this year, our favorite artists and actors truly went all out, making 2025 the most star-studded and memorable Halloween yet. From spooky and creative to iconic and glamorous, here’s a look at how our favorite celebrities dressed up for the spookiest night of the year.
Music icons Beyoncé and Jay-Z stunned the world with their joint costume as beloved 90s duo, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The couple, along with their three children, dressed up as Will, Carlton, Uncle Phil, Hilary, and Ashley Banks, complete with the iconic fashion of the show. Their attention to detail and commitment to their characters had fans in awe and nostalgia.
Another power couple, Selena Gomez and The Weeknd, graced the Halloween party scene as Gomez and Morticia Addams. The duo sported matching black outfits, with Gomez nailing the classic pale-skinned and red-lipped look of Morticia, while The Weeknd sported a sleek suit as Gomez’s dark and handsome husband, Gomez Addams.
Pop sensation Ariana Grande took a step out of her comfort zone and transformed into an eerie and captivating Maleficent. Her fierce makeup and elaborate horns left everyone spellbound. Her performance of “I Put a Spell On You” at her Halloween party had everyone in attendance bewitched.
Keeping up with the spooky vibe, Taylor Swift gave us major Lydia Deetz vibes from the movie “Beetlejuice.” The singer rocked a red wedding dress, complete with black and white striped stockings and a blonde wig, while her bestie, Selena Gomez, channeled her inner Beetlejuice. The duo was a hit, and fans couldn’t help but wonder if the two were secretly planning a “Beetlejuice” musical collaboration.
Halloween wouldn’t be complete without some iconic movie characters, and this year, they were brought to life by our favorite actors. Tom Holland, who plays Spider-Man in the Marvel Universe, took a break from his superhero suit and surprised fans by dressing up as the iconic film character, the Joker. His attention to detail, from the signature green hair to the purple suit, had fans comparing him to the legendary Heath Ledger.
Emma Watson, who is known for her role as Hermione Granger in the “Harry Potter” series, decided to relive her magical days and dressed up as Bellatrix Lestrange, the notorious villain from the series. Her transformation was so convincing that even her former co-star, Rupert Grint, mistook her for Helena Bonham Carter, who originally played the character.
While movie characters and iconic duos were popular choices among celebrities, some opted for more creative and unique costumes. Lady Gaga, always one to make a statement, wowed everyone with her portrayal of Medusa. With snakes adorning her head and a metallic dress, she truly embodied the mythical character. Actor Noah Schnapp of “Stranger Things” also won hearts with his costume as a zombie prom king, complete with a bloody crown and a prom queen zombie as his date.
Aside from the expected spooky and creative costumes, some celebrities also paid tribute to iconic figures. Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin dressed up as the late Elvis Presley and his wife, Priscilla Presley. The couple nailed the iconic 70s look and had fans reminiscing about the King of Rock and Roll.
Halloween 2025 was truly a star-studded affair, and it’s safe to say that our favorite artists and actors went above and beyond with their costumes. It was a night full of creativity, nostalgia, and good vibes, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next year. Until then, we’ll just be here, admiring their fabulous Halloween spirit.
