As a fashion enthusiast, I am always on the lookout for the latest trends and must-have items. Recently, TikTokers have been raving about the viral Adidas Originals x Bad Bunny Ballerinas, priced at $273. At first, I was skeptical about these ballerina sneakers since I usually prefer sneakers with a platform sole for an extra height boost. However, the retro-leaning shape and sporty twists, such as the bungee-cord laces, caught my attention. With the release of Bad Bunny’s 2025 album “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS” and his collaboration with Adidas since 2021, these shoes have gained even more hype. From unboxings to styling quests to dance routines, shoppers have been sharing their love for these viral shoes. As a lover of both music and fashion, I knew I had to give these sneakers a try and see what the hype was all about.
After browsing through the different color options, I decided to go with the off-white Adidas Originals x Bad Bunny Ballerinas, despite the Bold Gold option being the more popular choice. The Black option, priced at $164, is currently the most affordable version of these shoes. As a fan of Bad Bunny’s fashion sense, I was also drawn to his dressed-down look in the campaign for these sneakers. I thought it would be fun to try and recreate his look from head to toe. So, I went ahead and purchased the off-white Bad Bunny Ballerinas to fully immerse myself in the Adidas x Bad Bunny world.
As promised, I will be giving you a full review of the Adidas Originals Bad Bunny Ballerina sneakers and sharing my experience of dressing like Bad Bunny.
About the Adidas Originals Bad Bunny Ballerina Sneakers
The Adidas Originals Bad Bunny Ballerina sneakers are not just any ordinary sneakers. They are a representation of Puerto Rican dance culture and music, reflecting Bad Bunny’s musical evolution. The silhouette is a fusion of ballet and Adidas’s iconic Taekwondo model, originally crafted for martial arts in the early 2000s. These sneakers feature suede overlays at the toe and heel, a pull-tab, bungee-cord laces, and “Benito” stitched on the side. They are made with a rubber sole, calf leather and calf suede outer, and fabric lining. The gold colorway was released first, followed by the black and off-white versions in April 2025.

What I Like About the Adidas Originals Bad Bunny Ballerina Sneakers
As a lover of all things retro, I was immediately drawn to the aesthetic of these sneakers. The fusion of ballet and sportswear in the design of these shoes is truly unique and eye-catching. Despite being a fan of platform sneakers, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved the flat rubber sole of the Bad Bunny Ballerinas. The slight curve in the sole accentuates the natural curvature of the foot, making it visually appealing. These sneakers are not only stylish but also comfortable to wear.
One of the things I love about these sneakers is how versatile they are. They can be dressed up or down, making them suitable for a variety of outfits. I was able to effortlessly style them with a breezy dress and also with more androgynous pieces. The signature three-stripes logo adds a touch of sportiness to any outfit and complements other pieces well.
What to Consider Before Buying the Adidas Originals Bad Bunny Ballerina Sneakers
It is essential to note that these sneakers are currently sold out on the Adidas website. However, you can still find limited stock of the Adidas Originals Bad Bunny Ballerina on Farfetch in all three colorways. Depending on your chosen color and size, the price may vary. Some sizes may even be sold at a higher price on resale websites. So, it is essential to be mindful of the price and purchase from a trusted retailer.
I also want to mention that the suede on the toe of the off-white version scuffed relatively quickly. This is a common issue with suede shoes, especially in a light color like taupe. However, it is hardly noticeable and can easily be removed with a suede brush and eraser. To prevent further scuffing, you can use a suede protector spray.
