By providing employees with information on their market value and salary ranges, intermediaries can empower individuals to negotiate for fair compensation. This transparency can also lead to more accountability from employers, encouraging them to address any gender pay gaps within their organizations.

By promoting gender-neutral recruitment and promotion processes, advocating for equal pay, and promoting transparency in pay, intermediaries can contribute to closing the gender pay gap. It is crucial for organizations and governments to recognize the role of intermediaries in achieving gender equality and implement measures to ensure their practices are gender-inclusive.

By educating ourselves on the issue, speaking out against discrimination, and supporting organizations and intermediaries that champion gender equality, we can all contribute to creating a more equitable workforce. Let us work together to eliminate this unjust and stubborn feature of labor markets and pave the way towards a more equal future for all.
